Alexander Arnolds Late Goal Rescues A Point For Reds

Liverpool Held to Thrilling Draw at Manchester City

Alexander-Arnold's Late Goal Rescues a Point for Reds

Salah's Masterpiece Keeps Liverpool Unbeaten

Liverpool maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to leaders Manchester City. In a thrilling encounter at the Etihad, Trent Alexander-Arnold's 80th-minute goal salvaged a point for the Reds after Erling Haaland had given City an early lead.

Haaland opened the scoring with a clinical finish in the 20th minute, but Mohamed Salah responded with a moment of brilliance just before halftime. The Egyptian forward danced past several City defenders before firing home a stunning solo goal.

City regained the lead midway through the second half when Phil Foden converted a penalty, but Liverpool refused to give up. Alexander-Arnold's spectacular long-range effort in the dying minutes secured a valuable point for the visitors.

The draw leaves City with a two-point lead over Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table. Both teams will be looking to extend their winning streaks in their next league fixtures, with City facing Brentford and Liverpool traveling to Fulham.
